Our Message To You
How Your Support / Donation Will Help Us
At Food Bank On Wheels, we believe that no one should go to bed hungry. Unfortunately, food insecurity remains a significant issue for many individuals and families, especially in the face of recent economic challenges and unforeseen circumstances. That is why our organization is committed to ensuring that access to food is not a luxury, but a fundamental right for everyone.
Since our establishment in 2018, Food Bank On Wheels has been diligently serving the community by distributing food hampers each month to those who struggle to put food on the table. We operate through volunteer and charity vehicles that reach underserved Single Parent families with disabilities in the family providing a lifeline of sustenance and hope to those who need it most.
However, the demand for our services has increased significantly over the past year. The ongoing pandemic, coupled with rising food prices and unemployment rates, has resulted in a surge of individuals seeking assistance from our organization. While we strive to meet this growing need, our resources are stretched thin, and we cannot fulfill our mission without the support of compassionate and generous donors like you.
We are reaching out to you because we recognize the positive impact a Donor/organization/business has had on our community. Your commitment to social causes and philanthropy has made a tangible difference in the lives of many. We humbly request your partnership in our endeavor to alleviate hunger and make a lasting impact on the lives of those who are most vulnerable.
By contributing to Food Bank On Wheels, you will help us continue our vital operations, including:
• Purchasing fresh and nutritious food supplies to create balanced meals for distribution.
• Maintaining and fueling our food hamper delivery vehicles to reach underserved areas effectively.
• Expanding our outreach programs to provide educational resources on healthy eating and food sustainability.
• Collaborating with local farmers, businesses, and volunteers to maximize our impact and minimize food waste.
Your generous donation will not only nourish the bodies of those in need but also nourish their spirits by giving them hope, dignity, and the knowledge that their community cares about their well-being.
We deeply appreciate any contribution you can make to our cause. Whether it is a monetary donation, in-kind support, or volunteer engagement, every act of kindness brings us one step closer to achieving a hunger-free community. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals and families.
I would be honored to discuss our work in further detail. Please feel free to contact us via Email or 604 457-FOOD (3663) at your convenience. Additionally, you can find more information about Food Bank On Wheels, our impact, and ways to contribute on our website.
Thank you for considering our request and for your unwavering dedication to creating a better world. With your support, we can continue to provide nourishment, compassion, and hope to those who need it most.
