FOOD BANK ON WHEELS
is a Mobile Home Delivery Food Hamper Service.
We provide Food Bank Home Delivery.
We provide perishable & non-perishable food hampers
to Single Parent Families who are poor & in need
that cannot go to a regular Food Bank due to an
ILLNESS or DISABILITY in the family.
(We are not a delivery service. We deliver only to those who need it.)
Our service is for those who live in :
Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Mission, Aldergrove, Cloverdale, Surrey, Delta, Langley
We are looking for volunteers to enable us to service Vancouver & Burnaby,
for our Home Delivery Food Bank.

Surging food & fuel prices are driving up the cost of each Food Hamper we provide to Single Parent Families that rely on our Home Delivery Service.
Your donation will help us cover these costs
The purchase cost of each hamper is $100-$125
milk, cheese, margarine, eggs, fresh fruits & vegetables, cereal, peanut butter
mostly perishable foods along with non-perishables we do not get regularly donated.
Each food hamper of donated food and purchased food
has a value of $250-$300 each.
Donated foods we receive are meats & misc from Muslim Food Bank-Surrey
Sandwiches & Pastries from Starbucks-Pitt Meadows
Meats, soups, misc from The Little Butcher-Port Moody
Pastries, Bread from Casa del pane Bakery-Port Moody
just to name a few....THANK YOU...

Due to the War in Ukraine
Effective immediately, Food Bank On Wheels is reserving 50% of all donations we receive for our Ukrainian Emergency Fund:
The money raised will allow us to directly help Ukrainian War Victims in Ukraine, as well as Ukrainian families who have gone to Poland as refugees.
Your donation will help in two ways.
First, 50 % of your donation will be used to help Single Parent Families right here in your community of Metro Vancouver with home delivered perishable food.
Second, the other 50% of your donation will provide humanitarian aid to 5000 persons (mostly women & children) who have been evacuated to Vorokhta Village,
Nadvirna District of Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Ukraine.
These displaced persons are from territories affected by the Russian Invasion.
Your donation allows us to buy directly in Poland, Slovakia & Romania food products, medicines, and hygiene products as needed.
We will be working directly with "Christina Katrakis" who is the Ambassador for International Relations of
Foundations For United Nations SDg
